Kelli Green

During the months of January and February of 2014 and 2015, students from Angola, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Botswana studied political science and civic engagement courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a peer mentor for these students, I was able to form meaningful relationships, engage in different cultures, and help them feel at home in Lincoln. In February of 2014, I traveled to Alabama and Mississippi with the SUSI program on a civil rights study and service tour.
